Field of use
- This medicine is a combination of paracetamol, a pain relieving, fever -lowering medicine (analgesics and antipyrettika) and caffeine.
- It is used for symptomatic treatment of light to moderately severe pain, such as headache, toothache, regulation pain.

Contradictions
- The medicine must not be taken

dosage
- Always take the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
- The dosage is based on the information in the following table. The respective dosage interval depends on the symptoms and the maximum total daily dose. It shouldn't fall below 6 hours.
- In the event of complaints that last for more than 3 days, a doctor should be consulted.
- From 43 kg, children and adolescents from 12 years and adults
- Single dose in number of tablets: 1 - 2 tablets (350 - 700 mg paracetamol and 50 - 100 mg caffeine)
- max. Daily dose in number of tablets: 8 tablets (corresponding to 2800 mg paracetamol and 400 mg caffeine)
- From 43 kg, children and adolescents from 12 years and adults
- In patients with liver or kidney dysfunction as well as Gilbert syndrome, the dose must be reduced or the dose interval is extended.
- Special patient groups

- Heavy renal insufficiency
- With severe renal failure (creatinine clearance < 10 ml/min), a dose interval of at least 8 hours must be observed.

- No special dose adjustment is required.
- Children under the age of 12
- There is not enough knowledge material for an application in children under the age of 12.

- Duration of the application
- Do not take the preparation without a medical or dental advice for more than 3 days.
- If you have taken a larger amount than you should
- As a rule, side effects of paracetamol overdose only occur when a maximum daily dose of 60 mg/ kg body weight for children and 4000 mg in adults and adolescents over 12 years occur. Symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, pale and abdominal pain can occur within 24 hours. There can also be severe liver damage.
- Please inform your doctor if you have taken a larger amount of paracetamol.
- In the event of an overdose with caffeine, central nervous symptoms (e.g. restlessness, arousal, tremors) and cardiovascular reactions (e.g. racing heart, pain in the heart area) can be caused.
- If you have forgotten the intake.
- Do not take the double dose if you have forgotten the prior intake.
- If you have any further questions about the application of the drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Taking
- The tablets are taken with plenty of liquid. Taking it after meals can become a delayed effectivenesslead.
Patient information
- Particular caution is required for the application
- Take the preparation only after consultation with your doctor
- if you are chronically alcoholic
- if you suffer from the impairment of liver function (liver inflammation, Gilbert syndrome)
- with pre -damaged kidney
- in the case of thyroid overactive
- for cardiac arrhythmias
- for anxiety disorders.
- If your symptoms worsen or no improvement occurs after 3 days, or if you have a high fever you have to see a doctor.
- In order to prevent the risk of overdose, it should be ensured that other medicines that are used at the same time do not contain paracetamol.
- If painkillers are not dosed for a long time, headaches can occur, which may not be treated by increased doses of the drug.
- In general, the habitual intake of pain relievers, especially when combining several pain relieving active ingredients, can lead to permanent kidney damage with the risk of kidney failure (analgesics of nephropathy).
- When stopping abruptly, headaches and fatigue, muscle pain, nervousness and vegetative symptoms can occur after a long -dosed, non -determined use of painkillers. The deductible symptoms subside within a few days. Until then, painkillers are to be reinforced and the revenue should not take place without medical advice.
- Do not use the medicine for a long time or in higher doses without medical or dental advice.
- Take the preparation only after consultation with your doctor
- Wateriness and operating machines
- The medicine has no influence on the traffic and operating machines. Nevertheless, caution is always required after taking a pain reliever.
Pregnancy
- Pregnancy
- Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking all drugs.
- If necessary, the preparation can be used during pregnancy. You should use the lowest possible dose with which your pain and/or fever are alleviated, and you should use the medicine for the shortest possible period. Contact your doctor or midwife if the pain and/or the fever are not alleviated or you have to take the drug more often.
- Breastfeeding
- Paracetamol and caffeine, the active ingredients of this preparation, pass into breast milk. Since adverse consequences for the infant have not yet become known, an interruption of breastfeeding will generally not be necessary. The condition and behavior of the infant can be affected by caffeine recorded with breast milk.
- If the recommended dose is used in the short term, an interruption of breastfeeding will generally not be necessary. If you use or take higher doses for a long time, you should stop.
