How does the ingredient of the medicine work?

The ingredients come from the plant and act as a natural mixture. To the plant itself:

- Appearance: shrub -like tree with thorny branches, small, deeply loved leaves and small white flowers. The ripe fruits are bright red.
- Occurrence: Europe and Asia
- Main ingredients: Procyanidine, flavonoids (vitexin, hyperoside)
- Used plant parts and preparations: mainly extracts and tinctures of leaves, flowers and berries.
The ingredients cause a slight increase in cardiac output by increasing the power and expanding the blood vessels. They improve blood flow to the heart muscle and coronary arteries.

Which age group must be observed?
- Children under the age of 12: The drug should generally not be used in this age group.

What about pregnancy and lactation?
- Pregnancy: The medicine should not be used according to current knowledge.
- Breastfeeding: An application is advised against current knowledge. You may be to consider a weaning.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken
  • if they are hypersensitive (allergic) compared to the drug's effective component or one of the other components.

dosage

• Always take the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
  • Adults and adolescents from the age of 12:
  • 1 film-coated tablet twice a day.

 

• Duration of the application:
  • It is recommended to take the preparation for at least 6 weeks and a maximum of 6 months. After that, the treating doctor should set the further duration of use.
• Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should
  • If you accidentally have twice or three times a single dose (corresponds to two to three film -coated tablets of this medicine), this usually has no adverse consequences. In this case, continue taking as described or prescribed by your doctor.
  • If you have significantly overdosed this medicine, the side effects may occur. In this case, you should consult a doctor.

 

• If you have forgotten the intake
  • Do not take the double dose, but use the intake as stated or was prescribed by your doctor.

 

• If you cancel the intake
  • An interruption or early termination of the treatment is usually harmless. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

 

• If you have any further questions about the application of the drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Taking

• To take.
• Please take the film -coated tablet unscrewed with sufficient liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water).
• Do not take the film tablet lying down.

Patient information

• Particular caution when taking it is required,
  • if the symptoms of the disease unchanged over six weeks or in the case of collections of water in the legs, a consultation with the doctor is recommended. In the event of pain in the area of the heart that can radiate into the arms, the upper abdomen or the neck area, or if the shortness of breath, an immediate medical clarification is imperative.
  • Children:
    • There is no sufficient examinations for the use of this drug in children.
    • It should therefore not be taken by children under the age of 12.

  • There are no special precautions required.

Schwnative

• Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using all drugs.
• So far, there have been no indications of risks in pregnancy and breastfeeding from the widespread use of hawthorn as medicinal products. However, the results of experimental studies are not available. The preparation should therefore not be used during pregnancy and lactation.
