Vliwasorb® sensitive
Super absorbent wound dressing with silicone
Vliwasorb® sensitive is a superabsorbent with a silicone layer for moderately to heavily exuding wounds.
Due to the high absorption capacity and the high retention capacity even under compression, Vliwasorb® sensitive protects the wound and the area around the wound1) and reduces the risk of maceration ). The multi-layer construction facilitates fluid management to create an optimal moist wound environment, which contributes to faster wound closure. By binding the exudate in the wound dressing, the number of bacteria is reduced and removed when the dressing is changed2) . The soft silicone wound contact layer is self-adhesive, making it comfortable and easy to use. Due to the stable dimensional stability - even when used vertically - Vliwasorb® sensitive offers increased patient comfort and gives them a feeling of security: clothing and bed linen are protected from soaking through the practical laundry protection layer.
