Vagisan Protection Ointment is an intimate ointment for women who tend to irritate the skin in the intimate area.

Many women are familiar with these symptoms, but hardly anyone talks about them: the skin in the outer genital area – from the mons pubis to the entrance to the vagina and the buttocks – feels sore, is red, burns and itches. We recommend the regular use of a protective and wound ointment in the external intimate area. To avoid moisture build-up in the intimate area, an ointment with breathable properties should be used.

The Vagisan protective ointment protects the skin from moisture and friction and can thus prevent sores. Due to the composition, which i.a. contains skin-friendly oils and waxes of plant origin, it forms a water-repellent protective film on the skin and still allows the skin to "breathe". In this way, the skin can be protected against skin-irritating influences (e.g. urine from bladder weakness, cycling, tight clothing, bathing) and thus against soreness in the external intimate and bottom area, without moisture build-up.

If the intimate skin is already red, sore and irritated, the protective ointment can help to soothe the skin more quickly and help alleviate the symptoms. The composition of oils and waxes of plant origin has a nourishing and slightly greasing effect. In addition, the ointment contains nature-identical substances that are also found in oats and chamomile. A skin-soothing effect is attributed to these substances; natural ginger extract can counteract skin irritation in the intimate area.

Vagisan Protective Ointment was specially developed as an intimate care product for use in the external intimate area. The intimate ointment is particularly soft, easy to spread and adheres well to the skin. It contains no mineral fats, no silicone and no zinc oxide.

A variety of influences can disrupt the natural skin protection in the external intimate area - especially if they repeatedly affect the skin over a long period of time. For example, these are:

• Body excretions such as urine and stool residue (e.g. in the case of bladder weakness or incontinence), skin-irritating discharge from the vagina (vagina), menstrual blood and sweat

• sports activities such as cycling and motorcycling, horseback riding, jogging and marathon running

• Frictional effects from tight-fitting underwear and clothing, panty liners or rough toilet paper

• Frictional effects when skin rubs against skin

• Excessive hygiene measures, such as washing the external genitals too often.

The protective cream is applied thinly and distributed in the regularly affected areas in the external genital area. A pea-sized amount is enough for B. completely for the front or rear intimate area. The ointment can be used 1-2 times a day, more often if necessary. It can also be used during periods. In particular, an application is recommended

• After washing
• AFTER using toilet paper
• around the anus BEFORE and AFTER a bowel movement
• BEFORE sports activities.
