Vagiflor® Cystimed D-Mannose-antibiotics to strengthen the natural defenses of the bladder.
Vagiflor® Cystimed D-Mannose supports in the treatment of acute cystitis and in prevention recurring urinary tract infections. The natural sugar d-mannose relieves acute symptoms such as burning B Egg urination and more often urge to urinate, effectively and sustainably without attacking the mucous membranes. Field of use
- The preparation is a medicine to treat fungal infections of the vagina. The active ingredient clotrimazole inhibits growth and the increase in mushroom cells such as: B. Sprospilzen (yeasts) as well as a number of other mushrooms and some bacteria.
- It is used at:
- Excursion, due to mushrooms (mostly candida).
- Inflammation of the vagina by mushrooms.
- Super infections with clotrimazole-sensitive bacteria.

Contradictions
- The preparation must not be used

- Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is
- on 3 consecutive days, 1 vaginal tablet is inserted into the vagina once a day on 3 consecutive days.
- Duration of the application
- In general, a 3-day treatment is sufficient for vaginal inflammation, especially due to fungi. If necessary, a second treatment can be carried out over 3 days.
- The signs of vaginal inflammation caused by mushrooms (such as itching, discharge, burning) generally decrease significantly within the first 4 days after the start of the treatment. If there is no significant improvement in the symptoms after 4 days, please contact your doctor.
- Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the preparation is too strong or too weak.
- If you have forgotten the application
- If you have forgotten the application in the evening, you can make up for the application in the course of the following morning.
- If you cancel the application
- To complete a complete healing of the infection to reach and prevent relapse should not end or interrupt the treatment prematurely. If you do this anyway, there is a fear of returning the symptoms, since your fungal infection is probably not yet properly healed.
- You should not cancel the treatment after the complaints have subsided, but continue consistently over 3 days (as prescribed under "If the doctor does not prescribe otherwise, the usual dose" is described).

Taking
- The vaginal tablets are inserted into the vagina as deep as possible using the applicator. This is best done in a back with slightly attracted legs.
- If treatment is required during pregnancy on the doctor's instruction, this should be carried out without an applicator. Please wash your hands thoroughly before introducing the vaginal tablets.
- The treatment should not be carried out during menstruation or should be completed before the start.
- Notice:
- With dry sheath, the vaginal tablet may not completely dissolve. This can be recognized by the fact that solid crocks are excreted that z. B. find in the underwear. In this case, the treatment with vaginal cream should be carried out.
- Application of the vaginal tablets with an applicator
- 1. The piston of the applicator is pulled out to the stop. The vaginal tablet is removed from the impression pack and inserted into the applicator.
- 2. Place on your back and carefully insert the applicator into the vagina as deep as possible. The vaginal tablet is released by pressure on the piston.
- 3. The applicator is intended for repeated use. It must therefore be carefully cleaned after each application under running warm (non -boiling) water. The piston is pulled out of the applicator beyond the attack, and both parts are cleaned. With a clean cloth you dry it and put the applicator together again.
- Application of the vaginal tablet without an applicator
- The vaginal tablet is carefully inserted into the vagina with a clean finger.
Patient information
- Special care in the application is required
- Please ask your doctor:
- when the disease occurs for the first time.
- if you have occurred more than 4 such fungal infections for you over the past 12 months.
- Notice:
- With the simultaneous infection of the labia and adjacent areas or in the case of medically diagnosed inflammation of the partner and the foreskin of the partner by mushrooms, an additional local treatment should be carried out among the partners with the dosage forms of clotrimazole.
