Application notes

The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

Type of application?
Apply the medicine to the person concerned. Then easily massage the medicine. Avoid accidental contact with mucous membranes and eyes.

Duration of the application?
The duration of use depends on the type of complaints and/or the course of the disease.

Overdose?
In the event of an overdose, skin irritation can occur. If in doubt, contact your doctor.

In general, pay attention to a conscientious dosage especially in infants, toddlers and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautionary measures.

A dosage prescribed by the doctor may differ from the information on the package insert. Since the doctor coordinates you individually, you should therefore apply the medicine according to his instructions.

Mode of action

How does the ingredient of the medicine work?

Usually the skin is increasingly supplied with moisture and can save it for longer. As a result, the upper layer of horn dodges and the skin becomes smoother and softer. The addition of urea also enables other active ingredients to penetrate from the skin surface into the lower layers and thus increase their effect.

Always:
- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients

- Skin inflammation, acute

What about pregnancy and lactation?
- Pregnancy: According to current knowledge, the drug has no harmful effects on the development of your child or birth.
- Breastfeeding: The medicine should not be applied to the chest.

If the medicine has been prescribed to you despite a counter -notification, speak to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit can be higher than the risk of using the application.

Side effects

What adverse effects may occur?

- Super sensitivity reactions of the skin, such as:
- Skin irritation
- Burn on the skin
- Reddening of skin
- Itching
- Scale formation of the skin

If you notice a disorder or change during treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

For information at this point, side effects are taken into account, the BeI occur at least one of 1,000 patients treated.

Hints

What should you consider?
- Beware of allergy to ascorbic acid (vitamin C)!
- Beware of allergy to peanuts and soy.
- Antioxidants (e.g. butylhydroxyanisol, butylhydroxytoluole) can cause skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis), irritation of the eyes and mucous membranes.
- Emulgators (e.g. cetyl/stearl alcohol) can cause skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis).
- Solvent (e.g. propylene glycol, E 477) can cause skin irritation.
- There can be medicinal products with which interactions occur. Therefore, you should generally provide the doctor or pharmacist before treatment with a new medicine. This also applies to medicines that you buy yourself, only apply occasionally or that the application has been available for some time.

Field of use

  • The medicine is a dermatic/keratolytic.
  • The cream is applied in the event of excessive cunning, lighter forms of fish scale disease (ichthyosis), for relapse prophylaxis and continuous treatment for fish dance disease, follicular horneliness, dry, brilliant, reddened skin.

Contradictions

  • The cream must not be used
    • if you are allergic to urea or one of the other components of this drug.

  • Always apply this medicine as described or exactly after the agreement made with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • The recommended dose is:
    • Unless otherwise prescribed, the cream is applied 1 - twice a day to the well -cleaned dry skin until the symptoms subsided and thoroughly massaged.
    • Occeptional associations according to the doctor.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

 

  • If you have used a larger amount than you should
    • You can continue the treatment with the specified dosage. No impairments can be expected in the event of a short -term overdose.

 

  • If you have forgotten the application
    • Do not apply the double dose if you have forgotten the previous application.

 

  • If you cancel the application
    • You could endanger the success of the treatment. Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before stopping the treatment with this preparation.

Patient information

  • Warnings and Precautions
    • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
    • In the case of treatment in the genital or anal area, other possibly contained components can result in a reduction in the tear resistance and thus impaired the safety of condoms when using condoms from latex.
  • Children
    • There are no reliable experiences to use the cream in children. Reports from the specialist literature indicate that the use of higher -concentrated urea -containing products in children can lead to a mostly short -term burning on the skin.

 

  • Wateriness and ability to operate machines
    • There is no experience with regard to the impairment of traffic and the ability to use machines.
