Field of use

Intact skin can protect against fungal infections. The healthy skin has a corneal barrier and a closed acid mantle with the pH 5.5. In order to maintain this natural protection, suitable care is particularly necessary for the treatment of dry skin in neurodermatitis or old -age skin.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used
  • if you are hypersensitive (allergic) compared to urea or any of the other components of the preparation
  • with the skin and acute dermatitis
  • if you observe a hypersensitivity reaction during the application, the treatment must be set and the doctor should be asked.

Urea acis 12% cream (pack size: 50 g) is applied to the affected skin areas one to several times a day.

• Particular caution when using the drug is required
  • when you put the cream into contact with your eyes or mucous membranes. If you have brought the cream into contact with your eyes or mucous membranes, you should try to wash the cream immediately or ask a doctor if necessary.
• Children
  • There are no reliable experiences for the use of the preparation in children.
  • Reports from the specialist literature indicate that the use of higher -concentrated urea -containing products in children can lead to a mostly short -term burning on the skin.

Pregnancy

  • There is no experience with the application of the drug during pregnancy. Even if it is rather unlikely that the cream will pass into the bloodstream after applying to the skin, you should only apply the preparation during pregnancy if your treating doctor considers this absolutely necessary.
• Breastfeeding
  • It is not known whether the drug in couragetermilk passes. Therefore, the cream should only be used during breastfeeding if this is absolutely necessary. If your treating doctor considers an application necessary, you should not rub the chest area to avoid unwanted contact with the infant skin or an oral intake of the preparation by the infant.
