Field of use

A cold usually begins with a sore throat and uncomfortable neck scratch. Ctry, headache and body pain are usually other side effects of a respiratory infection. Umckaloabo 20mg (pack size: 15 pc) are a vegetable medicine for symptomatic and causal treatment of acute bronchitis. Its application is recommended for adults and young people aged 12 and over.

Mode of action

The active ingredient from the root of pelargonium sidoides in Umckaloabo 20mg (package size: 15 pc) stimulates unspecific important defense mechanisms of our body. The immune response to penetrating microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses is reinforced and tough mucus, a breeding ground for bacteria, is better removed. In addition, the extract directly has antibacterial and antivirals as well as cell protective properties.

• 20 mg pelargonium-sidoides root excerpt (1: 8-10), dried, [Auszugsmittel: Ethanol 11% (m/m)]

as other components:

Maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, lactose-Monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, like silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (Ph. EUR.), Hypromellosis, Macrogol 1500, iron (III) -Hydroxide oxide x H2O (E 172), Iron (III) -Oxide (E 172), titanium dioxide (E 171), Talkum, Simeticon, Sorbic acid (Ph. EUR.), Methylcellulose.

Contradictions

The product must not be taken:

• in the case of known hypersensitivity to one of the components
• with increased bleeding tendency and use of anticoagulant medication
• in severe liver and kidney diseases
• of children under the age of 12
• during breastfeeding

During pregnancy, the medicine may only be used after careful consideration and consultation with a doctor.

Application recommendation of Umckaloabo 20mg (pack size: 15 pc):

Unless otherwise prescribed, take:

• Adults and children over 12 years 3x a day 1 film -coated tablet of the Umckaloabo 20mg (pack size: 15 pc).

Take the Umckaloabo 20mg (pack size: 15 pc) in the morning, at noon and in the evening preferably with a glass of water and not lying down. Pass the intake to counteract a relapse after the complaints have subsided. The duration of treatment should not exceed 3 weeks.

Taking

• To take.
• Please take the film -coated tablets in the morning, at noon and in the evening with some liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water). Do not take film -coated tablets while lying down. 

Patient information

• Particular caution when taking the drug is required
  • if there is a lack of improvement within a week, with a fever persistent for over several days and when breathing shortly or bloody sputum occurs. In these cases, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
  • End the preparation and see a doctor if you have signs of liver damage (e.g. yellow coloring of the skin or eyes, dark urine, severe pain in the upper abdomen, appetite loss)
• What should be taken into account in children?
  • This medicine is not intended for use in children up to 12 years.
 

Pregnancy

• Pregnancy
  • There is no sufficient data for the safety of using the preparation for pregnant women. It should therefore not be taken during pregnancy.
• Breastfeeding
  • Since it is not known whether effective components of the preparation are transferred to breast milk, a risk of the infant cannot be excluded. If you breastfeed, you should therefore not take the medicine.
