Field of use

• The preparation is a vegetable medicine for external use in the case of colds of airways and for the treatment of muscle and joint pain in rheumatic complaints.
• The medicine is intended for use in children aged 2 and over.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used:
  • in the case of known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient, cineol, the main component of eucalyptus oil or one of the other components,
  • for infants and toddlers up to 2 years,
  • with damaged skin, e.g. B. for burns and injuries,
  • in patients with bronchial asthma (bronchial asthma) or other respiratory diseases that go hand in hand with a pronounced hypersensitivity of the respiratory tract.
  • at pseudo croup,
  • during breastfeeding.

dosage

• Always apply the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor or pharmacist, the usual dose is:
  • As a rubbing:
    • Unless otherwise prescribed, children from 2 years and adults rub the affected areas 2 to 3 times a day. B. chest and back or painful spots with the specified amount.
    • Children from 2 years to 12 years: approx. 3 cm long ointment strand
    • Children from 12 years and adults: approx. 6 cm long ointment strand
  • Note for use in children from 12 years and adults:
    • It is advantageous to cover the treated area because it makes the action particularly effective and long.
• The duration of the treatment depends on the course of the disease. The information in the "Patient information" category must be observed.

 

• If you have used a larger amount than you should:
  • If the recommended dosage is exceeded during use on the skin, the ointment should be removed and rinsed with water.

 

• If the preparation was accidentally taken:
  • The accidental intake of larger amounts of eucalyptus oil can cause considerable complaints (e.g. vomiting, abdominal pain, drowsiness, shortness of breath).
  • In this case, even if no complaints have occurred, you should contact your doctor. This applies in particular if a small child has swallowed larger amounts of the preparation.
  • Milk or alcohol should not be drunk in the event of an overdose, since these can promote the absorption of the drugs of the drug in the blood.

• Particular caution when using the drug is required:
  • In the event of complaints that last for more than 4 - 5 days, with deterioration and in the event of a bloody or purulent expectoration, a doctor should be consulted.
  • For acute conditions that go hand in hand with redness, swelling or overheating of joints as well as Andauea doctor should be consulted.
  • The medicine should not be used on the face.
  • When using the preparation, the contact of the drug must be avoided with the eyes.
  • The medicine should not be used in the area of the mucous membranes.
  • After use, the hands are to be cleaned thoroughly.
• Children
  • Do not apply to infants and toddlers up to 2 years.
  • When using the medicine, care should be taken to ensure that children with their hands cannot get in touch with the grated skin areas

 

• Wateriness and operating machines:
  • There are no special precautions required.

Pregnancy

• There is no sufficient examinations to use the preparation during pregnancy. Therefore, this medicine should not be used during this time.
