Field of use

• The preparation is a herbal drug for colds of the respiratory tract.
• The medicine is used
  • To improve the symptoms in the case of colds of the respiratory tract with viscous mucus and to improve the symptoms in acute bronchitis.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken
  • if you are hypersensitive to thyme or other lamiaceen (lip bloom), birch, mugwort, celery or other components of the preparation.

dosage

• Always take the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is
  • Adults and adolescents from the age of 12: 3 - 4 times a day 20 - 30 ml
  • School children 6 - 11 years: 3 times a day 15 ml
  • Small children 1 - 5 years: 2 - 3 times a day 10 ml
• The duration of the application depends on the course of the disease and must be determined by the doctor.
• Do not take the preparation without a medical advice for more than 1 week.
• Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should
  • Poisoning with preparations from thyme have not yet become known. If you have taken a larger amount of the drug than you should, please notify a doctor if necessary. This can decide on any necessary measures. The symptoms described under the "Side Effects" category may occur increasingly.

 

• If you have forgotten the intake
  • Do not take the double dose if you have forgotten the prior intake, but continue with taking it as prescribed by your doctor or described in the dosage instructions.

• The juice can be taken undiluted.

  • The preparation contains 4 vol.% Alcohol. If the dosage instructions are observed, 0.32 g of alcohol in children from 1 - 5 years, 0.47 g of alcohol in children from 6 - 11 years and up to 0.95 g of alcohol for adolescents from the age of 12 and adults.
  • There is a health risk. In the case of liver patients, alcohol patients, epileptics, patients with organic diseases of the brain, pregnant women and breastfeeding. The effect of other drugs can be impaired or intensified.

  • The application of the drug can lead to positive results for doping controls. Application as a doping agent can lead to a threat to health.

Pregnancy

• The drug should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, since there is no sufficient examinations.
