Application areas:
For use on the skin and inhalation. Transpulmin® Cold balm serves to improve the condition in the event of colds in the case of colds (such as uncomplicated runny nose, hoarseness and uncomplicated bronchial catarrh).
Dosage instructions, type and duration of the application:
Unless otherwise prescribed 2-4 times a day about 4 cm of the cream on the chest and back well.
The duration of the use of Transpulmin® Cold balm is based on the type, severity and course of the disease.

Field of use
Transpulmin Cold balm (pack size: 40 g) is used for inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract with cough, hoarseness, mucosal of the bronchi and the throat as well as to relieve the symptoms in lung and rib fur infections.

Contradictions
- The medicine must not be used,
- if you are hypersensitive to cineol, levomenthol and racemic campher or one of the other components of the preparation
- in the event of disease on asthma bronchial and whooping cough, as well as pseudo group and other respiratory diseases that go hand in hand with a pronounced hypersensitivity of the airways. The inhalation of levomenthol, racemic campher and/or cineol can lead to shortness of breath or trigger a asthma attack
- for external inscription in skin and childhood diseases with rash (rash), as well as on damaged skin, e.g. in the event of burns
- in infants and toddlers up to the 2nd year of life (danger of a larynx cramp), due to the content of cineol, racemic campers and levomenol
- for inhalation in children under the age of 6
- in children with increased risk of occurrence of seizures, due to the content of Campher
- with pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Application recommendation:
Unless otherwise prescribed, rub 2-4x daily about 4 cm Transpulmin Cold balm (pack size: 40 g) on the chest and back. Depending on the strength of the symptoms, pour on several centimeters Transpulmin Cold balm (package size: 40 g) with hot water and breathe in the vapors for a few minutes.

- Application on the skin:
- Rub the cream on the chest and back well.
- Production of a steam for inhalation:
- The cream is poured with hot water and the vapors inhaled for a few minutes.
Patient information
- Warnings and Precautions
- Do not use mucous membranes (not even the nose) or in the area of the eyes.
- Do not apply the face!
- Do not apply a large area
- Use only on the chest and back, not on the lower parts of the body (belly and in the lumbar area).
- Do not apply occlusively
- After use, please wash your hands well!
- The cream should only be used externally and for inhalation treatment!
- The preparation should be withdrawn with acutein addition, the respiratory tract or in acute pulmonary inflammation is only used in addition to treatment of the underlying disease with antibiotics and in coordination with the treating doctor.
- Children
- Because of the risk of scalding through hot water, you should never let children inhale unattended!
- Levomenthol, Racemischer Campher and Cineol can cause a larynx cramp in infants and toddlers up to 2 years with the result of severe breathing disorders.
- Camp -hard ointments must not be used in children with an increased tendency to seize seizures.
- Wateriness and operating machines:
- There are no special precautions required.
Pregnancy
- There is no sufficient data for the use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation.
- Animal experimental studies also provide insufficient information as to whether treatment with the preparation has a harmful effect on pregnancy or the development of the offspring.
- You must therefore not use the medicine during pregnancy and lactation.
Hints
