Field of use

Terzolin 2% (package size: 15 g) is used for inflammatory skin changes with scales and itching (seborrheic dermatitis or seborrheic eczema) and lamps (pityriasis versicolor). The preparation is intended for use in adults.

Contradictions

The medicine must not be used,

• if you are hypersensitive (allergic) against ketoconazole or one of the other components of the drug.

dosage

- Always apply the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not entirely certain:

• In seborrheic dermatitis, apply a sufficient amount of cream to the diseased skin and the surrounding skin (approx. 1-2 cm) once a day.

- Duration of the application

• The signs of the disease usually decrease significantly within the first 14 days after the start of treatment with the medicine. Continue the treatment for at least a few days beyond the disappearance of the symptoms to avoid recurring.
• The entire treatment time for seborrheic dermatitis is an average of 4 weeks, and an average of 2-3 weeks for lichen.

- If the signs of the disease do not go back within the first 14 days after the start of treatment, you must see a doctor. - An excessive or more frequent application on the skin can lead to reddening of the skin (erythema), edema (water retention in the skin) and burn. These phenomena disappear again after the treatment is stopped.- The medicine should not be taken. If you accidentally swallow the medicine, speak to your doctor.

Taking

Patient information

- The drug must not catch up.- If you are currently using cortisone-containing medicines to be used externally due to your symptoms, then ask your doctor or pharmacist.
