Field of use

• The medicine contains an extract made of ginkgo leaves.
• The medicine is used
  • On the symptomatic treatment of braingian -related performance disorders in the context of a therapeutic overall concept of dementia (acceptance or loss of acquired mental abilities) with the key symptoms: memory disorders, concentration disorders, depressive mood, dizziness, ears, headaches.
• The individual response to the medication cannot be predicted.
• Before treatment with Ginkgo extract begins, it should be clarified whether the symptoms of illness are not based on a specifically treated underlying disease.
  • To extend the pain-free walking distance in the case of arterial closure disease to the limbs, so-called "shop window disease" (Claudicatio intermitters in stage II according to Fontaine) as part of physical-therapeutic measures, in particular walking training.
  • In the event of dizziness as a result of circulatory disorders or age -related regression (Vertigo vascular and involved).

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken
  • if you are hypersensitive to Ginkgo Biloba or one of the other components,
  • during pregnancy.

dosage

• Always take the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
  • For symptomatic treatment of braingian -related performance disorders:
    • Adults from the age of 18 should be 20 times a day 20 - Take 40 drops (corresponding to 40 to 80 mg of GinkGO extract 3 times a day).
  • To extend the pain -free walking distance in peripheral arterial closure disease:
    • Adults from the age of 18 should take 20 drops 3 times a day (corresponding to 40 mg of GinkGO extract 3 times a day) or 40 drops 2 times a day (corresponding to 80 mg of ginkgo extract).
  • In the event of dizziness and for the supportive treatment of ear noises:
    • Adults from the age of 18 should take 20 drops 3 times a day (corresponding to 40 mg of GinkGO extract 3 times a day) or 40 drops 2 times a day (corresponding to 80 mg of ginkgo extract).
• The intake takes place in the morning, at lunch and evening, with 2 times daily application in the morning and in the evening.
• Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of this drug is too strong or too weak.
• Children and adolescents
  • The medicine is not intended for use in people under the age of 18.

 

• Duration of the application
  • In brainganic performance disorders:
    • The duration of treatment should be at least 8 weeks. After a treatment period of 3 months, the doctor must check whether the continuation of the treatment is still justified.
  • In the case of peripheral arterial closure disease:
    • The improvement in walking performance requires a treatment duration of at least 6 weeks.
  • With dizziness:
    • The application over a longer period of time than 6 to 8 weeks does not improve the result of the treatment.
  • With ear noise:
    • Supporting treatment should take place over a period of at least 12 weeks. If no success has occurred after 6 months, it can no longer be expected even during longer treatment.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount of the medicine than you should:
  • Overdose symptoms are not yet known. The side effects mentioned may occur more if you have taken a larger amount of the medicine. Please notify your doctor. This may decide on the necessary measures.

 

• If you forgot to take the medicine:
  • Next time, do not take the twice the amount, but continue with taking you, as prescribed by your doctor or as described here.

Taking

• The drops are undiluted or taken into some water. The intake can take place independently of the meals.

Pregnancy

  • This medicine should not be used during breastfeeding because there is no sufficient examinations. It is not known whether the ingredients of the extract change into breast milk.
