Field of use

Synofen contains the active ingredients paracetamol and ibuprofen.
Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicinal products that are referred to as non -steroidal anti -inflammatory drugs/anti -inflammatory drugs (or NSAID).
Paracetamol acts in a different way than ibuprofen, but both active ingredients together cause pain to reduce pain.
Synofen is used for short -term symptomatic treatment of light to moderately severe pain. Synofen is specifically applicable in pain that cannot be alleviated by the sole use of ibuprofen or paracetamol.
Synofen is used in adults from the age of 18.

Contradictions

Synofen must not be taken,

If you are allergic to ibuprofen, paracetamol or one of the other components of this drug mentioned in section 6,

If you regularly drink large amounts of alcohol,

If you had allergic reactions in the past (e.g. bronchospasm, angioedema, asthma, runny nose or hives) in connection with acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs,

If you have an active peptic ulcer (i.e. gastrointestinal or duodenal ulcer) or a bleeding has been present or has repeatedly occurred (at least two different episodes of proven ulcers or bleeding),

If you had a gastrointestinal bleeding or a breakthrough in connection with previous NSAR therapy in the history,

If you have a hemorrhage or other active bleeding,

If you have blood formation disorders,

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this package insert or take exactly according to your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Do not take longer than 3 days.

Adult
The recommended dose is 1 tablet up to three times a day. This must be taken together with water.

There are at least 6 hours of time to be between the individual doses.

No more than six tablets may be taken over a period of 24 hours (corresponding to 3,000 mg paracetamol and 1,200 mg ibuprofen per day).
