The Vitamin C 300 long-term capsules are a special development and offer vitamin C in a special form. The capsules contain small pearls that slowly dissolve after consumption and thus supply the organism with vitamin C over a longer period of time. The German Society for Nutrition recommends taking in at least 100 mg of vitamin C per day. With an additional daily intake of 200 mg, vitamin C also contributes to the normal function of the immune system during and after intensive physical activity.

EFSA says that vitamin C:
- plays a role in collagen formation for the normal function of teeth, gums, blood vessels, bones and cartilage

- contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress

The German Society for Nutrition therefore recommends taking in at least 100 mg of vitamin C per day. With an additional daily intake of 200 mg to the recommended daily dose of vitamin C, vitamin C also contributes to the normal function of the immune system during and after intensive physical activity.

With the high dosage of 300 mg vitamin C per capsule, the vitamin C 300 long-term capsules are used to supplement the diet and easily cover more of the required intake.
