Lutein is an intensely yellow-colored substance that belongs to the group of carotenoids. Unfortunately, we cannot produce lutein ourselves. Certain amounts of lutein are found in dark green leafy vegetables such as broccoli, spinach and kale, but also in egg yolk.

Lutein capsules contain a balanced mixture of 6 mg lutein with beta-carotene and blueberry powder.

Beta-carotene is converted into vitamin A in the body as required. Vitamin A can then contribute to the maintenance of vision.
