Field of use

Soventol 20mg/g (pack size: 20 g) serves to relieve itching in insect bites, mosquito stabs, itching. The antihistamine Bamipin has proven itself excellently for insect bites. Because it prevents free histamine from docking on the stimulus receptors of the skin and attacking exactly where itching, swelling and burning are caused by insect bites. In Soventol GEL, the antihistamine Bamipin is contained in a cooling gel base. In this way, the soothing effect of insect bites is accelerated with itching, because the cooling effect helps to combat the itching even faster.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used
  • if you are hypersensitive (allergic) against bamipine[(RS)-lactat] or one of the other components of the preparation
  • during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

dosage

• Apply the medicine in theme exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
  • The gel is applied to the affected skin areas several times a day - if necessary at half an hour - in a thin layer. If it allows you to be well -massaged, the preparation can also be massaged.

 

• Duration of the application:
  • The duration of use depends on the strength of the symptoms.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have used a larger amount than you should:
  • Overdose symptoms are not to be expected when using the preparation when used as intended.

 

• If you have forgotten the application:
  • Unique forgetting of the application does not lead to negative effects. Apply the gel again at the next possible time.
  • Do not apply the double dose if you have forgotten the previous application.

 

• If you cancel the application:
  • No negative effects are known.

 

• If you have any questions about the application of the drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
