SOMNOLIS is a very compact mouth splint. It does not require a dental impression and can be worn discreetly in the mouth in no time. SOMNOLIS is extremely affordable and therefore ideal for initial experience with a mouth splint. With SOMNOLIS , you can quickly and easily test how effective the mandibular protrusion is for you. Its compact dimensions also make it ideal for vacations, camping, or short hospital stays, for example.

How it works
During sleep, SOMNOLIS pushes the lower jaw forward a few millimeters. This protrusion creates more space behind the tongue, allowing inhaled and exhaled air to pass freely through the airways.

Contraindications
• Removable dentures or poorly adherent partial dentures
• Pain in the temporomandibular joint
• Gum recession and loose teeth
• Important: For regular use (every night) over a longer period of time, we recommend the use of a custom-fitted mouthpiece such as SOMNOFIT or SOMNOFIT-S

Effectiveness
The principle of mandibular protrusion has been clinically tested and confirmed.
It can prevent or at least reduce snoring in 80% of cases. Even with sleep apnea, the average reduction is 55%, but can vary greatly between individual patients. In cases of sleep apnea, the effectiveness of SOMNOLIS should be individually assessed by a specialist.
