ANWENDUNGSEMPEHLUNG

Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the recommended dose for gas-related gastrointestinal complaints is:
• Infants and bottle-fed children: Add 10 to 20 drops (equivalent to 0.3–0.6 ml) of Simethicone AL Emulsion to each bottle. Simethicone AL Emulsion mixes easily with other liquids, such as milk. For breastfed infants, Simethicone AL Emulsion can be administered with a small spoon before each feeding.
• Toddlers can be given 20 drops (0.6 ml) of Simethicone AL Emulsion during or after feedings. If necessary, an additional 20 drops of Simethicone AL Emulsion can be given before bedtime.
• School-age children take 30 to 40 drops (0.9 to 1.2 ml) of Simethicone AL Emulsion, adults 40 to 60 drops (1.2 to 1.8 ml). This dose should be repeated every 4 to 6 hours and can be increased if necessary. Simethicone AL Emulsion can be taken during or after meals and, if necessary, before bedtime.

Shake the bottle well before use! To produce drops, hold the bottle vertically downwards and tap the bottom of the bottle lightly with your finger. Tilting the bottle can reduce the drip rate.
