Mode of action

How does the active ingredient in the medicine work?

The ingredients come from the milk thistle plant and act as a natural mixture. About the plant itself:
- Appearance: Thistle up to 2 meters tall with large, dark green and white marbled leaves and striking purple flowers
- Occurrence: Europe, primarily sunny, rather barren locations in the Mediterranean region
- Main ingredients: Silymarin, a mixture of various active ingredients (silibinin, silychristin, silydanin)
- Plant parts and preparations used: Extracts and tinctures from the herb and fruits
Milk thistle fruits, in particular, have pronounced liver-protective properties. Their constituents shield the liver from numerous toxins, such as alcohol. At the same time, they also intercept harmful substances and promote the formation of new liver cells. Milk thistle also reduces the formation of inflammatory substances in the body.

Ingredients
The active ingredient is: District of dukes, dry fruits.
1 Hard capsule contains 167.69–206.44 mg cleaned dry extract from dinum thistle fruits (36-44: 1) accordingly 109 mg silymarin, calculated as a silibine (HPLC). Extract: ethyl acetate. The other components are: microcrystalline cellulose, cornstarch, poly (o-carboxymethyl) strength-sodium salt, sodium dodecylsulfate, magnesium stearate (ph.) [pflanzlich], gelatin, titanium dioxide (e 171), iron (III) oxide (E 172), cleaned water.
