Contradictions

This product must not be used,

• in the case of known hypersensitivity to dextrometorphanhydrbromide or one of the other components
• at asthma bronchial
• in chronic obstructive respiratory disease
• in the case of pneumonia (pneumonia)
• in the event of breathing apparatus (respiratory depression)
• in the case of inadequate breathing work (respiratory insufficiency)
• when you breastfeed

From Silomat® DMP lollipotilla with real honey, children from 6 years can take one every 4-6 hours, but not more than 6 a day. Young people aged 12 and over and adults can take 1-3 lollipops every 4-6 hours, but not more than 12 a day. Then slowly melt the lollipops in the mouth.

Cough is not always the same

• Chronic cough can be an early symptom of a bronchial asthma, so the preparation for damping this cough - especially in children - is not indicated.
• Please note that the medicine can lead to mental and physical dependence. In patients who are prone to drug abuse or drug addiction, treatment with the preparation must therefore be carried out at short notice and under the strictest medical control.
• Children
  • The preparation is not suitable for children under the age of 6 due to the dosage form (medicinal products are available in other forms of preparation).

 

• Wateriness and operating machines
  • This medicine can often lead to slight tiredness even in the event of intended use and thereby change the reaction so far that the ability to actively participate in road traffic or to operate machines is impaired. This applies to an increased degree of interaction with alcohol or medication, which in turn can affect reaction capacity.

Pregnancy

• Pregnancy
  • So far, observations on humans have not indicated no indication of fruit that has been damaging to fruit, but the present studies are not sufficient for a final assessment of the security of using dextromethorphan during pregnancy. Therefore, dextromethorphan may only be used by the treating doctor and only in exceptional cases according to strict benefit-risk assessment.
• Breastfeeding
