Silomat^® Cough Suppressant Ambroxol Hydrochloride 30 mg/5 ml Syrup

For use in adults, adolescents, and children 2 years and older.

Active ingredient: Ambroxol hydrochloride.

Used for expectorant treatment in bronchial and lung diseases with thick mucus. If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 4–5 days, consult a doctor. Note: Contains sorbitol and benzoic acid.

EINNAHMEEMPFEHLUNG
Adults and adolescents over 12 years:
5 ml 3 times daily for 2-3 days, then 5 ml 2 times daily.

Children 6-12 years: 2.5 ml 2 to 3 times daily.

Children 2-5 years: 1.25 ml 3 times daily.

For a more restful night with Silomat^® Can be combined with cough suppressants.

Maximum recommended duration of use: 4–5 days.

Who is Silomat^® Cough Expectorant suitable for?
Silomat^® Cough Expectorant is suitable for adults and children 2 years and older.
Should not be used during the first 3 months of pregnancy. Use during breastfeeding is not recommended.

How do I take Silomat^® Cough Expectorant?
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age can take 5 ml of Silomat^® Cough Expectorant 3 times daily for 2–3 days. Then, 5 ml twice daily.

Children aged 6–12 years can take 2.5 ml of Silomat^® Cough Expectorant 2 to 3 times daily.

Children aged 2–5 years can take 1.5 ml of Silomat^® Cough Expectorant 3 times daily.

How long should I take Silomat^® Cough Expectorant?
Without medical advice, Silomat^® Cough Expectorant should be taken for a maximum of 4–5 days. In cases of acute respiratory illness or if symptoms do not improve or even worsen, medical advice should be sought.
