The monk's pepper is medically recognized for the treatment of irregular, too frequent or too rare menstrual bleeding. The ripe, dried fruits of the chaste tree are used medicinally. They contain essential oil, iridoid glycosides (Agnusid, Aucubin), triglycerides and bicyclic diterpenes.
Studies have shown that the extract from the fruit interferes with the hormonal balance, reflecting its effectiveness in gynecological symptoms - these are often the result of a hormonal imbalance.
Recommended intake:
