Field of use

• The preparation is a so -called antiseptic, which means that it works locally on skin and wounds against a variety of disease -causing bacteria and fungi and is used, for example, against wound infections. When using local application, it inhibits the structure of the bacterial wand and thus leads to the quick death of the pathogens.
• The solution made from the preparation is used for an antiseptic rinsing of wounds and body caves; Also to be used in the mouth and throat.

Contradictions

• The preparation must not be used in the case of known hypersensitivity to Ethacridinlactate, other Acridin descendants or the other component.

• Always apply the preparation exactly according to the instruction.

• The usual dose is:
  • To produce a solution with a concentration of 0.1%, the content of 1 bag is dissolved in 1 l of warm water with constant stirring, the content of 1 bag in 2 l water for the production of a 0.05% solution. If you have heated the solution, it must be cooled back to room temperature before use.

 

• Duration of the application
  • Do not apply the preparation without medical advice for more than 7 days.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have used a larger amount than you should:
  • So far, no poisoning cases have become known in the application.

 

• If you have forgotten the application:
  • The application should be made up for as soon as possible.

 

• If you cancel the application:
  • You could endanger the success of the treatment. Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before you cancel the treatment.

Taking

• The solution can be used as an envelope, flushing or e.g. in the form of a handbath. As a general dosage guideline, the following is: Leave the 0.1%solution locally for at least 30 min.

Patient information

• Special care in the application is required
  • The solution should be made as fresh as possible before use.
  • Envelopes and associations should only be used once. If used repeatedly, the active ingredient concentration of the solution would increase significantly by evaporating. This could lead to local irritation and, if necessary, hypersensitivity to the active ingredient.

 

• Wateriness and operating machines
  • There are no experience in terms of impairment of the traffic and the ability to use machines.

Pregnancy

• The preparation should not be applied during pregnancy, since there is no sufficient examinations on fruit -damaging effects.
• Since it is not known whether the substance is transferred to breast milk, an application should also be omitted during breastfeeding.
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/ using all drugs.
