Field of use

Remifemin plus St. John's wort film -coated tablets (pack size: 180 pc) - hormone -free through the menopause.

Remifemin Plus St. John's wort film tablets (pack size: 180 pc) is recommended for emphasized mental and at medium to strong menopausal symptoms and as an efficient start of treatment for the first symptoms. The combination of grape silver candle and St. John's wort not only alleviates physical complaints such as hot flashes and sweats, but also mental symptoms such as mood swings, nervousness and increased irritability.

70 mg of dry extract made of St. John's wort (3.5-6: 1), extractor: ethanol 60 % (v/v) and 3.75 mg dry extract from Cimicifuga rootstock (6-11: 1), moving agent: propane-2-ol 40 % (V/ v).

The other components are:
Microcrystalline cellulose, glyceroldibehen, high-disperse silicon dioxide, lactose monohydrate, lactose, poly (vinyl alcohol), (3-Sn-phosphatidyl) -Cholin (SoyBean), Xantumummi, Talcum: Titanial dioxide (E 171) , Iron (III) -Hydroxide oxide E 172, Indigocarmin E 132.

Contradictions

In the case of known hypersensitivity to one of the above -mentioned ingredients, this product should not be used.

dosage

Application recommendation of Remifemin Plus St. John's wort film -coated tablets (pack size: 180 pc)if the doctor does not prescribe any other way:

2 film -coated tablets 1).

Dose reduction possible: from the 9th week 2x1 film -coated tablet daily.

Taking

• The film -coated tablets are taken in the morning and in the evening un -custody with liquid. You can take the film -coated tablets regardless of meals.

Patient information

• Warnings and Precautions:
  • Particular caution when taking it is required,
    • if your liver is prejudiced. Then you should only take the medicine after consultation with the doctor.
    • when signs of liver damage occur (yellow color of the skin or eyes, dark urine, severe pain in the upper abdomen, nausea, loss of appetite, tiredness). Then you should stop taking it immediately and see a doctor.
    • if you are or were treated for breast cancer or other hormone -dependent tumors. In these cases, you should not take the preparation without medical advice.
    • if you take estrogen -containing medication. Then you should not take this preparation without medical advice.
    • if your menstrual bleeding is disturbed or occurs again after a break or if you have continuing unclear symptoms or other symptoms arise. Then you should see a doctor. In these cases, these can be illnesses that a doctor must clarify.
  • Medicines that contain components from St. John's wort (hypericum) can interact with other drugs: active ingredients from hypericum can accelerate the excretion of other drugs and thereby reduce the effectiveness of these other substances. Active substances made of hypericum can also put on the concentration of a so -called 'messenger substance' (of serotonin) in the brain, so that this substance can develop undesirable effects, especially when combined with other medicines against depression.
  • If you are already using this preparation, you should inform your doctor about this if he prescribes another medication or if you want to take a medicine yourself.
  • In certain cases, it should be considered to end the treatment.
    • In women who use hormonal contraceptives (e.g. "the pill") and at the same time taking this medicine, intermediate bleeding can occur as a result of an interaction. The safety of hormonal contraception can be reduced so that additional contraceptive measures should be taken.
    • Before the planned surgical interventions with full or partial anesthesia, you should speak to your doctor at least 1 - 2 weeks in advance in order to exclude possible interactions of the preparations used. In this case, this medicine should be discontinued at least one week before the surgical intervention.
    • During the application you should avoid excessive sunlight and visit solariums.

• Wateriness and ability to use machines:
  • No examinations were carried out on the roadworthiness and the ability to operate machines. Negative effects are not known.

Pregnancy

• Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking medicines.
• There is no adequate data for assessing security during pregnancy and lactation. Therefore, the application is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
• Women of childbearing age should consider an effective non -hormonal contraception method during treatment
