RC-Cornet^® Plus

The respiratory therapy device RC-Cornet Plus makes patients with asthma, COPD and cystic fibrosis breathe more easily.

Breathe more easily with the respiratory therapy device RC-Cornet Plus
Chronic diseases of the lower respiratory tract lead to an increased formation of bronchial mucus. Notor, chronic cough and frequent respiratory infections are among the consequences.

The respiratory therapy device RC-CORNET PLUS controls, on the other hand: it creates an oscillating positive exhalation (Opep) when exhalation, widens the respiratory tract and reduces breath shortage. In addition, it effectively loosens bronchial mucus and thus reduces the cough. The entire exhalation air is used for cleaning the airways.

Breathing therapy with the RC-Cornet Plus leads to a noticeable improvement in the symptoms of patients with these chronic diseases of the lower respiratory tract after a short, regular use of use:

During the therapy, tones are generated that give patients feedback via the correct application.
The setting of two forms of treatment and 4 different resistors enables highly individual therapy - regardless of the degree of exhalation.
The new inhalation valve enables the inhalation and exhalation via the device without stopping.
Due to the integrated nebulizer connection, breathing therapy and inhalation therapy can be carried out at the same time (combination therapy), this improves the medication position and shortens the therapy duration.
Application, cleaning and hygiene correspond to the highest clinical requirements.

Respiratory tract width and relieve shortness of breath
In setting 1 of the RC-Cornet Plus, an even exhalation pressure with vibrations is generated when exhaling ("stabilizing opep"). Consequences are opened and parts of the lung bubbles are ventilated again. This reduces shortness of breath!

Slide secretions with stubbornly mucous bronchi
In setting 2 of the RC-Cornet Plus, a slowly increasing pressure is set up during exhalation, which then drops suddenly ("mobilizing opep"). As a result, fixed and tough secretions are dissolved and liquefied by the bronchial walls. The mucus is then transported up, i.e. mouthward, and can be coughed up more easily.

Prevent exacerbations and reduce susceptibility to infections
By expanding the respiratory tract and the loosening of stuck bronchial mucus, the cough "productive" (secretive) becomes and can meet its cleaning function. As a result, the cough stimulus is mitigated and the risk of respiratory infections and frequent hospital stays are reduced.
