Application

Puralid Lipogel eyelid gel (pack size: 15 ml) is used to treat the symptoms of inflammation of the eyelid (blepharoconjunctivitis) and the eyelid margin (blepharitis). It is also suitable for loosening crusts on the eyelids. It contains liposomes, tea tree oil, vitamin A, xanthan gum, ferulic acid, vitamin E PGS , and alpha-bisabolol.

Mode of action

Puralid Lipogel Eyelid Gel (pack size: 15 ml) contains the following ingredients with these properties:

• Liposomes: act as a carrier and release the active ingredient at the target site. They also have a soothing and alleviating effect.


• Tea tree oil: has antimicrobial, antibacterial, and antiviral properties.


• Alpha-bisabolol: reduces redness and inflammation, soothing even on very sensitive skin.


• Vitamin A: nourishes and strengthens the skin. Together with xanthan gum, ferulic acid , and vitamin E TPGS , it protects the eyelid surface from UV-radiation and from damage to cell membranes.

Phospholipids S80 (NIOLip), bisabolol, tea tree oil, vitamin A palmitate, vitamin E TPGS, ferulic acid, xanthan gum, EDTA-disodium dihydrate, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, sodium hydroxymethylglycinate, citric acid monohydrate, tripotassium citrate monohydrate, distilled water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use of Puralid Lipogel Eyelid Gel (Pack size: 15 ml):

The gel can be applied twice daily or as directed by your doctor. It is best to incorporate it into your daily routine and apply it morning and evening.

• Wash your hands thoroughly.
• Before first use, hold the bottle upright and press the pump firmly three to five times to load the dosing system until the gel is dispensed.
• Dispense a small amount of Puralid Lipogel Eyelid Gel (Pack size: 15 ml) onto your fingertips.
• Gently apply to the eyelids using circular movements.
• Leave on for a few minutes. Wipe away any residue with a clean cloth or cotton pad.

Patient Information

Apply only externally to the eyelid, not inside the eye.
Discontinue use immediately if hypersensitive reactions occur.
