Active ingredient: Povidon K25
Protagent forms a sliding and protective film on the surface of the eye. It relieves or prevents irritation of the eye due to the lack of or insufficient tear production.
Field of use:
Symptomatic treatment of the dry eye, application as a wetting agent for dry eyes while wearing hard contact lenses

Field of use
- artificial tear fluid
- The preparation is used for the symptom treatment of the dry eye.
- Note: When wearing contact lenses, the information for contact lens carriers must be observed.

Contradictions
- The medicine must not be used,
- if you have already been hypersensitive to Povidon or one of the other components.
dosage
- Always apply the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
- It is dripped into the conjunctival bag up to 5 times a day, as well as more often, 1 drop.
- In the symptomatic therapy of the dry eye, the duration of the application is based on the clinical picture. Please ask your doctor.

- After use, a slight blurring can occur at short notice. You should first drive a car again, without a safe hold or operate machines when this sign has subsided.

Miscellaneous
- With the medicine, after dropping into the conjunctive conjunction of the eye due to Schlieren formation, a blurry that lasts a few minutes can occur. During this time, no machines should therefore not be operated and should not be participated in road traffic.
- The eye drops contain the preservative of benzalkonium chloride, which can cause irritation of the eye (burning, redness, foreign body feeling), especially when used more frequently and for a longer period of use and damage the cornea of the eye.
- For the long -term treatment of chronic dry conjunctivitis (keratoconjunctivitis sicca), preservative -free medicines should therefore be preferred.
Incompatibilities:
- High salt concentrations can cause Povidon (PvP) precipitation, e.g. sodium sulfate in the cold and sodium chloride in the heat.
