Field of use

• The preparation is a vegetable medicine for colds of the airways.
• The medicine is used
  • For external use and inhalation to improve the condition in the case of colds of airways (such as uncomplicated runny nose, hoarseness and uncomplicated bronchial catarrh).

Mode of action

By rubbing on the chest and back, the high -dusceptible essential oils contained in the Pinimenthol Cold ointment (package size: 100 g) are absorbed through the airways and through the skin and transported to the bronchi. Once there, eucalyptus and pine pin oil from the Pinimenthol Cold ointment (pack size: 100 g) The annoying cough stimulus and solve tough mucus. The menthol also contained frees the respiratory tract and thus relieves the annoying cold complaints.

Active ingredients: 20.00 g eucalyptus oil, 17.78 g pine needle oil, 2.72 g levomenthol. Other components: cleaned water; Alpha (hexadecyl/octadecyl) -OMEGA-hydroxypoly (oxyethylene) -12, white vaseline, microcrystalline hydrocarbons (C40-C60), glycerol monostearat 40-55, heptamethylnonan, glycerol 85%, cetylstearyl alcohol (Ph.), OctyLDOdecanol (Ph. EUR), Citronensic acid|3| glycerolmonoleate-glycerolmonostetekat-L (+)-6- |3|-Palmitoylascorbean acid-all-rac-α-tocopherol-lecithin (2.5: 20: 20: 25 : 25), sodium defeat (Ph. EUR.).

Contradictions

Hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients, pregnancy and lactation, children under the age of 12, asthma bronchial, whooping cough as well as other respiratory diseases that are accompanied by a pronounced hypersensitivity of the respiratory tract (inhaling can cause bronchial muscles), inhalation with acute inflammation of the airways and at Acute pulmonary inflammation, external application for rash and damaged skin, e.g. B. for burns. dosage

• Always apply the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
  • for rubbing: 2 to 4 times a day, rub a 3 - 4 cm long strand on the chest and back or massage it easily.
  • for inhalation: Put an approximately 5 cm long strand into a suitable container 1 to 3 times a day, pour hot water over and inhale the essential oils for several minutes.
• In the event of symptoms that last for more than 3 - 5 days, when breathing short, headache, for fever or purulent/bloody ejection or nasal secretion, a doctor urgently needs to be consulted.
• When inhalation, it is advisable to close or cover your eyes in order to avoid possible irritation of the conjunctiva. With the hot water, which is necessary for the evaporation of the essential active ingredients and for inhalation, should be handled as carefully as possible.

 

• If you have used a larger amount than you should (massive overdose):
  • With intended external use or inhalation, overdose symptoms are not to be expected.
  • If there is excessive inhaling, cough and shortness of breath can occur. After breaking off the inhalation, the symptoms sound off.
  • The accidental intake of larger amounts of the drug can cause considerable symptoms (e.g. vomiting, abdominal pain, drowsiness). In this case, even if no complaints have occurred, you should contact your doctor. This applies in particular if a small child has swallowed larger amounts of the preparation. Milk or alcohol should not be drunk in the event of an overdose, since these can promote the intake of the active ingredients of the preparation in the blood.

 

• If you have forgotten the application:
  • Even if you have forgotten an application, you should continue to use this medicine without increasing the dose.

    • a) inhale: Because of the risk of scalding, the inhalat should not be warmed up again after cooling!
    • b) are pregnant and breastfeeding:
      • It is not known whether the use of the preparation has a negative impact on pregnancy and lactation.
      • You must therefore not use this medicine during pregnancy and lactation.
• Warnings
  • Do not apply mucous membranes (not even the nose) or in the area of the eyes.
  • Do not apply on the face.
  • After use, please wash your hands well.
  • The preparation should only be used externally and for inhalation treatment.

Pregnancy

• It is not known whether the use of the preparation negative effects on pregnancy and silencehas.
• You must therefore not use this medicine during pregnancy and lactation.

the contact with mucous membranes should be avoided.

Miscellaneous

- In the event of complaints for more than 3-5 days, when short, headache, fever, purulent or bloody expectoration and nasal secretion, a doctor must be consulted immediately.
- Because of the risk of scalding, the inhalat should not be warmed up again after cooling.
- Children must not come into contact with the grated skin areas with their hands.
- Because of the risk of scalding through hot water, children do not let children inhale unattended.
