Field of use

Pertussin lollipops are a vegetable medicine in catarrhals of the airways. They are applied in the case of colds of the respiratory tract with viscous mucus and to improve the symptoms in acute bronchitis.

Contradictions

Pertussin lollipops must not be applied, if the hereditary metabolic disease is given by phenylketonuria; for people with fructose intolerance (hereditary fructose intolerance) as well as glucose-galactose malabsorption or saccharosis-isomal lack; In the case of known hypersensitivity to thyme or other lamiaceen (lip flower), birch, mugwort, celery or one of the other components. Pertussin lollipops contain aspartam, mannitol and sorbitol. Aspartam is a source for phenylalanine and can be harmful if you have a phenylketonuria. Mannitol can have a slightly laxative effect.

Adults and children from the age of 12 can suck 3-4 lollipops up to 3 times a day.
