PERENTEROL Junior 250 mg powder sachet

Active ingredient: dry yeast from Saccharomyces cerevisiae HANSEN CBS 5926 (synonym: Saccharomyces boulardii).

Areas of application: For the symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea, including travel diarrhea and diarrhea caused by tube feeding. To prevent travelers' diarrhea. For use in diarrhea in adults, adolescents and children from 6 months. For the prevention of traveler's diarrhea in adults and children over 12 years of age.

Warning: Contains lactose and fructose.

Perenterol^® Junior 250 mg has proven itself in diarrhea. The natural active ingredient S. boulardii (medicinal yeast) is well tolerated and helps effectively against diarrhea without impairing the natural intestinal activity. It binds the diarrhea pathogens and excretes them. The regeneration of the intestinal flora is also supported and further fluid loss is prevented.

The special plus for children is the practical powder form and the delicious taste. The powder is simply stirred into food or drinks at room temperature - done! Last but not least, Perenterol^® Junior 250 mg convinces with its good tolerability.

Medicinal yeast Saccharomyces boulardii: Naturally effective
Perenterol^® Junior 250 mg powder contains a special medicinal yeast: Saccharomyces boulardii. This is an active ingredient used specifically for medical purposes, which is characterized by a broad spectrum of activity and good tolerability. Particularly noteworthy: S. boulardii does not affect the natural movement of the intestines, so it does not "paralyze" the intestines. A clear advantage over some diarrhea drugs. Especially for children! S. boulardii has a comprehensive effect on diarrhea:

• Binds diarrhea pathogens and helps to eliminate the pathogens from the body
• Neutralizes bacterial toxins
• Prevents excess fluid loss
• Supports the regeneration of the intestines
• Has an anti-inflammatory and immune-stimulating effect (stimulation of the intestinal immune system)
• Stabilizes the intestinal flora

Application of Perenterol^® Junior 250 mg powder
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:

For infants and toddlers between 6 months and 2 years:
• For acute diarrhea:
1 sachet of Perenterol^® Junior once or twice daily. The treatment may only take place after consultation with the doctor.
• To prevent traveler's diarrhea:
The application is not intended.

For children from 2 years up to and including 11 years:
• For acute diarrhea:
1 sachet of Perenterol^® Junior once or twice daily.
• To prevent traveler's diarrhea:
The application is not intended.

For teenagers from 12 years and adults:
• For acute diarrhea:
1 sachet of Perenterol^® Junior once or twice daily.
• To prevent traveler's diarrhea:
1 sachet Perenterol^® Junior once or twice daily.

Tip: The contents of the bag should be stirred into plenty of water or other drinks or mixed with food that is neither too hot (not over 50° C) nor ice-cold.
