Paracetamol HEUMANN 500 mg tablets for pain and fever.
For use in adults, adolescents and children from 11 years of age.

Field of use

Paracetamol Heumann 500mg tab.b.ache U.feber (pack size: 20 pieces) relieves mild to moderate pain, such as headache, toothache and menstrual pain. Paracetamol is particularly suitable for people with stomach problems and can also be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients listed above, the product should not be used.

dosage

Recommended use of Paracetamol Heumann 500mg tab.b.pain and fever (pack size: 20 pieces): Paracetamol is dosed depending on body weight and age, usually 10 to 15 mg/kg KG as a single dose, up to a maximum of 60 mg/kg KG as a total daily dose. The respective dosing interval depends on the symptoms and the maximum total daily dose. It should not be less than 6 hours. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, a doctor should be consulted.

Patient notes

To avoid the risk of overdose, it should be ensured that concomitant medicinal products do not contain paracetamol. Caution is advised when paracetamol is used concomitantly with flucloxacillin as there is a small increased risk of high anion gap metabolic acidosis [HAGMA]. Patients at high risk of HAGMA are in particular those with severe renal impairment, sepsis or malnutrition, especially when the maximum daily doses of paracetamol are used. Close monitoring, including monitoring of urinary 5-oxoproline, is recommended after concomitant use of paracetamol and flucloxacillin to detect the occurrence of acid-base disorders, namely HAGMA.
