Field of use

Panthenol (or dexpanthenol) has been used for many decades with great success in different irritations of the skin and is known to most of them as an active ingredient of wound and healing ointments as well as creams. Such irritation includes smaller abrasions and cuts as well as slight inflammation or burns. In the skin, panthenol is converted into effective pantothenic acid, which accelerates natural regeneration and the stability of the skin barrier is restored faster. Panthenol thus supports the natural healing processes and actively contributes to reducing scar formation. Panthenol cream should be applied thinly to the affected front sites one to several times a day. It is vegan and can also be used for tattoo aftercare.

Contradictions

Panthenol cream law must not be used if they are hypersensitive to dexpanthenol, methyl or propyl-4 hydroxybenzoat or one of the other components of panthenol cream.
