Field of use

• This is a vegetable medicine in heart disease. It is used if the heart is graded according to stage II to Nyha.

1 ml of hawthorn leaves, flowers fluid extract
Ethanol Hedge substance (+)

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken if they are allergic to hawthorn.

dosage

• Always take this medicine exactly as described or exactly after the agreement made with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The recommended dose for adults and adolescents from the age of 12 is: 40 drops 3 times a day. 40 drops correspond to 1.89 ml.
• Application in children and adolescents
  • There is no sufficient examinations for the use of this drug in children. It should therefore not be taken by children under the age of 12.

 

• How long should you take the medicine?
  • It is recommended to take the medicine for at least 6 weeks and a maximum of 6 months. After that, the treating doctor should set the further duration of use. Also note the information in the "Patient notice" category".
• Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of this drug is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should
  • If you accidentally have twice or three times a single dose (corresponds to 80 - 120 drops or approx. 4 - 6 ml of this medicine), this usually has no adverse consequences. In this case, continue taking as described in the dosage instructions or was prescribed by your doctor.
  • If you have significantly overdosed this medicine, the side effects may occur. In this case, you should consult a doctor.

 

• If you have forgotten the intake
  • Do not take the double amount if you have forgotten the prior intake. Continue taking it as it is stated in the package insert or was prescribed by your doctor.

 

• If you cancel the intake
  • An interruption or early termination of the treatment is usually harmless. If in doubt, please ask your doctor or pharmacist.

 

• If you have any further questions about taking this medicine, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Taking

• Please take the medicine undiluted or in some water and have enough liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water).

  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine.
  • If the disease symptoms remain unchanged, over six weeks or when the water is accumulated in the legs, a consultation with the doctor is recommended. In the event of pain in the area of the heart that can radiate into the arms, the upper abdomen or the neck area, or if the shortness of breath, an immediate medical clarification is imperative.
  • From der Spreaded use of hawthorn leaves with flowers as medicinal products have so far resulted in no indications of risks during pregnancy and during breastfeeding. However, the results of experimental studies are not available. This medicine should therefore not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
  • This medicine contains alcohol. There is a health risk, among other things, liver patients, alcohol patients, epileptics, patients with organic diseases of the brain, pregnant women, breastfeeding and children.   • Children
    • There is no sufficient examinations for the use of this drug in children. It should therefore not be taken by children under the age of 12.

  • There are no special precautions required.
