Despite its compact dimensions, the RS8 offers numerous functions for convenient blood pressure measurement. The NFC interface (Near Field Communication) enables data transmission to the free OMRON Online Health Management Bi-LINK. With it, blood pressure data can be easily managed, tracked and downloaded. Bi-LINK is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8. Thin, light and completely silent, it is the ideal companion on the go. The LED positioning sensor uses two sensors to determine the optimal position for blood pressure measurement. This avoids measurement errors and ensures precise results. The device shows morning and evening high pressure. Whether the blood pressure exceeds the recommended values is classified graphically. The device also has a trend graph function for monitoring blood pressure trends. Regular blood pressure measurements at home can help to identify risks of heart attacks and strokes at an early stage. OMRON blood pressure monitors detect irregular heartbeats. All of our blood pressure monitors feature OMRON's proprietary Intellisense™ technology for a quick and smooth reading without over-inflating the cuff.
