Who is OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN^® Intensive Skin Bath suitable for?
Our skin is a very large and complex organ: Each square centimeter is home to up to a million bacteria, fungi, and mites. These beneficial microorganisms together form our skin microbiome and are extremely important for our skin's barrier function and immune system.

Various skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis are often associated with changes in the skin microbiome, in which the natural diversity of microorganisms on the skin is disrupted. This makes it easier for harmful skin germs such as Staphylococcus aureus to spread. This can further exacerbate the symptoms of atopic dermatitis, such as dry skin and severe itching.

OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN^® Intensive Skin Bath can counteract this and noticeably improve the stressed condition of the skin by specifically improving the skin microbiome.

How does OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN^® Intensive Skin Bath work?
In atopic dermatitis, the diversity of beneficial organisms in our skin microbiome is reduced – an imbalance (= dysbiosis) occurs. This change makes it easier for pathogens to spread. Staphylococcus aureus, among other things, plays a major role in the course of atopic dermatitis, as it triggers inflammation and can significantly worsen the skin's condition.

OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN^® Intensive Skin Bath contains the patented bacterial complex Baplexin^® 621 – a unique combination of 9 active, specially selected, and scientifically researched probiotic bacterial strains.

These active probiotic skin inhabitants naturally supplement the skin's microbiome, gently expel pathogens, and thus restore balance – the skin is actively cared for, and the skin barrier can regenerate. After just a few days, the skin's appearance improves and itching is significantly reduced. OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN^® Intensive Skin Bath contains only purely natural ingredients and is free of fragrances and preservatives, making it especially suitable for very stressed and irritated skin. Through targeted application as a partial bath or using a compress, the active probiotic bacteria support the skin exactly where it needs help.

How is OMNi-BiOTiC^® Intensive Skin Bath used?
During the acute phase: Treat the affected skin areas in a partial bath once daily for 10 minutes for 14 days. Stir in 2.5 g (= 1 measuring spoon) of powder per liter of water. A full bath is also possible for small children.

If the skin area is not suitable for a partial bath, you can soak a clean cloth, a soft washcloth, or a small towel with the solution and apply it to the affected area.

After application: Allow the skin to air dry and do not rinse off the solution. Approximately 1 hour after application, you can apply a cortisone-free care cream, such as OMNi-BiOTiC SKiN^® Intensive Care Ointment. We recommend showering at least 8 hours after application, as otherwise the beneficial bacteria from the skin bath will be washed away and will not colonize.

Important note: Also suitable as an adjunct to therapy, and can be combined with all common anti-inflammatory topical therapeutics. Open the cap carefully to prevent the powder from getting into the eyes or spreading uncontrollably.
