Ohropax Classic Earplugs
These little beads have been bringing peace to our hectic and noisy world for over 100 years – and kick-starting an entire company.

Due to their high level of comfort, Ohropax Classic is ideal for undisturbed sleep. It is also a pleasant aid for general relaxation, meditation exercises, concentrated reading and working, DIY, and loud music. Thanks to their tight seal, Ohropax also offers protection from moisture and wind. The subtle, skin-colored beads can be optimally adjusted to any ear canal and significantly reduce noise exposure. The high level of comfort is further enhanced by the fact that the supple and skin-friendly material adheres securely to the ear and prevents any feeling of pressure.

How to use:
- Before use, completely remove the cotton from the earplug with clean fingers. If necessary, tear off the earplug to make it smaller. Do not reuse any torn pieces!
- Knead the earplug until soft, form it into a cohesive, sufficiently large ball, and then gently seal the outside of the ear canal. Do not insert it too deeply!
- After use, remove the earplug only with your fingers. Gently pressing on the back of the ear will loosen the earplug. Do not use any hard or sharp objects!

Before using the earplug in loud noises, you should first check whether it is suitable for this level of exposure. Please consider the sound insulation values and the safety instructions.

Ohropax Classic earplugs have high sound insulation values across the entire frequency range.

How do I know if the product is suitable for a specific noise exposure?

• Determine the level (dB) of the impacting sound at the respective frequency (e.g., using device documentation).
• Subtract the corresponding value for the assumed protection (also called APV , indicated in the table as "assumed protection").
• You are only adequately protected if the remaining value is below 85 dB. This applies to a daily exposure time of up to 8 hours.

For simplification, you can also calculate with the following (approximate) average values:

• SNR-Value (single number rating, general attenuation)
• H-value (high, at higher frequencies)
• M-value (medium, at medium frequencies)
• L-value (low, at lower frequencies)

General Safety Instructions:
Disposable earplugs to be molded before use in accordance with standard EN 352-2:1993. Tested by the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), Bundesallee 100, D-38116 Braunschweig, notified body 0102.

• Insert the earplugs carefully according to the instructions for use.
• Ensure hygienic use. Ears and earplugs must be clean and dry!
• Earplugs must be worn continuously in noisy areas.
• Store the earplugs in their original packaging below 30°C until ready to use.
• Due to the lack of cleaning options, Ohropax Classic is recommended for single use only.
• This product may be affected by certain chemicals. Further information can be obtained from the manufacturer.
• Sudden or rapid removal of the earplug from the external ear canal may damage the eardrum.

Warning: Failure to follow these instructions may significantly impair the protective effect of the product. Keep earplugs away from small children (danger of swallowing).

At home:
Due to their high level of comfort, Ohropax Classic are ideal for sleep and relaxation, but also for concentrated work, DIY projects, and loud music. They also keep moisture and wind away from the ears.

At work:

- Ohropax Classic are ready to use immediately. There is no need to wait for expansion times like with foam earplugs.
- No sweating and no pressure on the ear like with earmuffs.
- No problems for people who wear glasses.
- Can be combined with safety helmets, safety goggles, and earmuffs.
- Speech and warning signals can still be heard. Sound is attenuated, but not completely eliminated.
- Due to the material, Ohropax Classic are not suitable for warm, dirty, and dusty workplaces.

Compatibility:
Ohropax Classic are considered to be extremely well tolerated. They do not contain any ingredients with a known allergenic potential. Hearing protection sometimes takes some getting used to. We recommend gradually increasing the wearing time. In rare cases, one's own pulse may be heard at first. This effect usually disappears after a short period of adjustment.
