Due to its physico-chemical properties, Ocusalin removes excess fluid from the edematous cornea, thus improving vision.

Ocusalin is mainly used after eye surgery (e.g. cataract surgery) and diagnostic eye surgery (e.g. gonioscopy) that disturbed the osmotic balance of the corneal tissue.
