octeniderm colorless is particularly suitable for use before laying the ZVK and for the maintenance of catheter entry points due to the remane wound of 24 hours.
Octeniderme can also be used in colorless for skin disinfection before preoperative interventions, before injections, before blood samples and before punctures.

• Composition:
Incidentally effective components: 100 g of solution included: Octtenidinhydrochloride 0.1 g, 1-propanol (Ph.) 30.0 g, 2-propanol (Ph.) 45.0 g Other component: cleaned water

• Application areas:
Skin disinfection before surgical interventions, catheterization of blood vessels, blood and liquor withdrawals, injections, punctures, excisions, cannulas, biopsies, etc., one-off wound and seam supply. If there is no special hand disinfectant available, OCTENiderm® colorless can also be used for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection.

• Side effects:
With frequent use, skin irritation such as redness, burning and itching can occur. Allergic reactions (e.g. contact eczema) are also possible. If you find out other than the side effects described here, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

• Warnings and precautionary measures for the application:
Avoiding direct contact from OCTENiderm® colorless with X -rays.
Flaming point according to DIN 51 755: 1 propanol (Ph. EUR.) 45 ° C, 2-propanol (Ph. EUR.) 23.5 ° C.
Inflammatory.
Do not spray in open flames.
After spilling alcoholic disinfectant, measures against fire and explosion are immediately taken.
