Field of use

Paracetamol is an active ingredient from the group of analgesics antipyrettics (pain inhibitor/fever). Caffeine is a central exciting fabric.

Contradictions

The medicine must not be used at:
- known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or caffeine,
- treatment of children under the age of 12.

dosage

The following information applies unless your doctor prescribed the medicine. Please adhere to the application regulations, otherwise the preparation cannot work properly!
Evalive ECHema: With short -term use of the drug without medical or dental monitoring, adults and adolescents over 12 years ½ - 1 tablet (corresponding to 175 to 350 mg paracetamol and 25 to 50 mg caffeine) take up to 3 - 4 times a day. The daily maximum dose is 4 tablets (corresponding to 1400 mg paracetamol and 200 mg caffeine). In terms of use under medical or dental over -guaking, adults and adolescents over 12 years take 2 tablets (corresponding to 700 mg paracetamol and 100 mg caffeine) up to 3 - 4 times a day a. The daily maximum dose is 8 tablets (corresponding to 2800 mg paracetamol and 400 mg caffeine). In patients with liver or kidney dysfunction as well as Gilbert syndrome, the dose must be reduced or the time interval is extended. There is not enough knowledge material for determining the dosage in children under 12 years.
Duration of treatment: This medicine should not be taken for a long time without medical or dental advice and not in higher doses. Without a medical regulation, the medicine should only be taken to remedy acute pain. Overdose: In the event of overdose with the medicine, nausea, vomiting, sweating, sleepiness and general feeling of illness can occur at the beginning (1st day). Despite the improvement of the subjective general condition on the 2nd day, the liver can be heard progressive, right down to the liver coma on the 3rd day. The caffeine content can cause central nervous symptoms (e.g. restlessness, excitation, tremors) and cardiovascular reactions (e.g. rapid heartbeat, pain in the heart area). Pregnancy

The combination of paracetamol-caffeine should not be taken during pregnancy, since the safety of the application is not documented. During breastfeeding, the condition and behavior of the infant can be affected by caffeine recorded with breast milk, since the infant cannot detoxify caffeine. For this reason, paracetamol should be used during breastfeeding without a caffeine additive. With longer therapy or taking higher doses, it should be quenched.

Hints

Do not apply longer for pain or fever without medical advice than specified in the package insert!
