Field of use

• The preparation is used for skin infections with nystatin-sensitive yeasts such as. B. diaper dermatitis.

Mode of action

Mozine infections of the skin are mainly caused by thread mushrooms (dermatophytes) and yeast mushrooms (Candida). A disease of the skin caused by mushrooms is called mycosis. Nystatin is often used as a potent active ingredient against a candida mycosis on the skin. This active ingredient is included in the product NYSTADERM (pack size: 100 g).
NYSTADERM (pack size: 100 g) actively acts against the yeast mushroom candida albicans who likes to settle in a warm climate. Infants and toddlers are often affected in the diaper area. This is shown in the form of redness and sore. One then speaks of a diaper dermatitis, which can be treated effectively and effectively withNystaderm (package size: 100 g).

Contradictions

• The preparation must not be used
  • if you are hypersensitive (allergic) against Nystatin or one of the other components.
• If hypersensitivity occurs (e.g. itching, burning), the medication must be discontinued and the doctor must be consulted.
• Due to the high osmolarity of Nystatin, an application for very underweight and immature premature babies is advised.

dosage

• Always apply the preparation exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• The usual dose is:
  • apply thinly to the diseased skin areas 2 - 4 times a day.
  • The symptoms usually stop after a few days.
  • However, in order to secure full therapy success, treatment N shouldoh, continued a few days after the full healing. The duration of treatment should not exceed 3 weeks.

• If you have used a larger amount than you should

• If you have forgotten the application of Nystatin Acis Paste
  • Do not apply the double dose if you have forgotten the previous application.

 

• If you cancel the application
  • You could endanger the success of the treatment. Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before you cancel the treatment.

Pregnancy

• Nystatin, the active ingredient of the preparation, is hardly absorbed in therapeutic dose after oral gift, over the intact skin or over the mucous membranes. The placenta barrier does not happen, and a transfer to breast milk is also not to be expected.
• The preparation can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using all drugs.
