For the dietary treatment of allergies to cow's milk protein in infants and young children. Signs of an allergic reaction can include skin rashes, colic or digestive problems. The protein in Nutramigen LGG® is particularly well broken down (extensively hydrolyzed). The carbohydrate component made from glucose polymers is easily digestible and lactose-free.

Important instructions:
Nutramigen LGG® is a fully balanced diet for the exclusive and supplementary nutrition of infants up to the end of the 6th month of life. Nutramigen LGG® is suitable for supplementary nutrition in children from the age of 7 months. Use only under medical supervision. • Do not use parenterally. Breast milk is the best nutrition for your child. Talk to your doctor if you want to use an infant formula. Taking your age, body weight and clinical picture into account, your doctor will determine the total daily amount of Nutramigen LGG® and, if necessary, advise you on suitable supplementary food. Nutramigen LGG® should not be used in infants and young children with known immunodeficiency. Don't leave your child to suck on the bottle all the time. Frequent or prolonged contact of the jaw or teeth with foods containing carbohydrates - such as Nutramigen LGG® - can cause serious tooth damage.

Please note: In the case of food intolerance/allergies, your doctor should test the individual tolerance of the food before administration. Hypoallergenic foods taste different than regular milk foods and may take some time to get used to. Children fed this diet may have an increased incidence of thin, greenish stools.
