Dosage

The following dosage recommendations are given - the dosage for your special illness is best discussed with your doctor:

Adult

High dose: A dose of 1 ampoule per week should not be exceeded.

Your doctor will check your treatment at regular intervals and switch to oral treatment after a maximum of 4 treatment weeks.

Application areas

The medicine is primarily given if the vitamin B1, B6 and B12 deficiency cannot be remedied in terms of nutrition.

- Nerve disease due to lack of vitamin B1, B6 and B12, in the case of proven deficiency states

Mode of action

How do the ingredients of the drug work?

Cyanocobalamine (vitamin B12): The active ingredient is a precursor of vitamin B12 and is converted into the body. Vitamin B12 is involved in blood formation in the body.
Pyridoxin (vitamin B6): The active ingredient controls a number of metabolic processes in the body, for example the production of protein components, of messenger substances of the nervous system such as adrenaline and the production of the red blood pigment. It also influences blood clotting. A lack of pyridoxin can therefore manifest itself through anemia or damage to nerves, skin or mucous membrane.
Thiamin (vitamin B1): The active ingredient is indispensable for the function of the nervous system and plays an important role in carbohydrate metabolism.

100 mg pyridoxin hydrochloride

Which age group must be observed?
- Children and adolescents under the age of 18: The drug must not be used.

What about pregnancy and lactation?
- Pregnancy: Contact your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the medicine can be used during pregnancy.
- Still -time: Contact your doctor or pharmacist. He will check your special starting position and advise you accordingly whether and how you can continue with breastfeeding.

If the medicine has been prescribed to you despite a counter -notification, speak to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit can be higher than the risk of using the application.

Side effects

What adverse effects may occur?

- Circulatory failure through an allergic reaction (anaphylactic shock)
- Hypersensitivity
- Sweating (hyperhidrosis)
- Accelerated pulse (tachycardia)
- Skin reaction, with:
- Itching (pruritus)
- Nessel rash (urticaria)
-gastrointestinal complaints, such as:
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Stomach pain
- Acne
- Skin inflammation with itching and redness (eczema)
- Reaction at the puncture site
- Discoloration of the urine

If you notice a disorder or change during treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

For information at this point, side effects are taken into account that occurs in at least one of 1,000 patients treated.
