Field of use

Nasal spray AL 0.1% (pack size: 10 ml) ensures that the nasal mucosa swell, facilitates the secretion and thus helps:

• Sniffles
• fall -up flow sniffing
• Inflammation of the sinuses
• Catarrh of the tube agent in connection with runny nose

Mode of action

The active ingredient xylometazoline contained in nasal spray al 0.1% (pack size: 10 ml) has vascular -narrowing properties by collecting the veins of the mucous membrane. This reduces the excessive blood flow to the nose, which will keep the mucous membrane over.

1 ml of Nasal spray AL 0.1% (pack size: 10 ml) included:

• 1.0 mg xylometazolin hydrochloride

Other components of nasal spray AL 0.1% (pack size: 10 ml):

0.2 mg benzalkonium chloride, glycerol, citronic acid monohydrate, sodium citrate 2 H2O, cleaned water.

Contradictions

In the case of known hypersensitivity to one of the above -mentioned ingredients, with dry inflammation of the nasal mucosa with bark formation and in children under 6 years Nasal spray AL 0.1% (pack size: 10 ml) should not be used. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, when taking mood-enhancing medicinal products or other potentially blood pressure-enhancing medicines, increased intraocular pressure, severe cardiovascular diseases, a hormone-producing tumor of the adrenal marrow and for metabolic disorders, nasal spray is 0.1% (pack size: 10: 10 ml) to consult a doctor. Nasal spray AL 0.1% (pack size: 10 ml) should not be used for more than 5 days.

Application recommendation of Nasal spray AL 0.1% (pack size: 10 ml):

For hygienic reasons, a nasal spray should only be used by one person. If necessary, set nasal spray AL 0.1% (pack size: 10 ml) vertically in the nostril and release a spray.
Nasal spray AL 0.1% (pack size: 10 ml) should not be used for more than 5 days. If the complaints persist, please consult a doctor.

Taking

This preparation is intended for nasal application. It is advisable to thoroughly roll your nose before using the preparation. The last application to every treatment day should be done favorably before going to bed. For hygienic reasons and to avoid infections, it is pointed out that each dosing unit may only be used by one patient.

Patient information

Particular caution when using the medicine is required if they are treated with certain mood-enhancing medicines (monoaminoxidase inhibitors [MAO-Hemmer]) and other potentially blood pressure-enhancing medicines.
If you suffer from increased intraocular pressure, especially narrow -angle glaucoma.
If you suffer from severe cardiovascular diseases (e.g. coronary heart disease [KHK], high blood pressure).
If you suffer from a tumor of the adrenal gland (Phäochromocytom).
If you have metabolic disorders such as B. hyperthyroidism or diabetes (diabetes mellitus) are available.
If you have an enlargement of prostate.
If you suffer porphyria from metabolic disease. The permanent use of sniffing-swelling sniffed medicines can lead to chronic swelling and finally to the loss of the nasal mucosa.

Children
The preparation must not be used for infants and toddlers under 2 years.

Wateriness and operating machines
No impairments can be expected in the event of intended use.

Pregnancy

Since the security of the drug is not sufficiently proven during pregnancy and breastfeeding, you may only apply the preparation on the advice of your doctor and only after this has carried out careful benefits/risk assessment. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the recommended dosage must not be exceeded, since overdose can affect blood supply to the unborn child or reduce milk production.
