Field of use

Numerous organs can develop a fungal infection, also called mycosis. A vaginal fungal infection is an infection of the vagina and/or the labia. An antifungal is used for treatment. This is necessary because a fungal infection cannot be eliminated by the body alone.

In most cases, vaginal fungal infection is caused by the yeast mushroom "Candida Albicans". Least mushrooms settle in small numbers on mucous membranes, e.g. in the oral cavity, in the intestine or in the vagina and generally have no disease value. However, if the vaginal milieu gets out of balance, there can be an excessive increase in the mushroome and thereby come to the infection.

The most common triggers are:
Hormone change during puberty, pregnancy or menopause
Defense weakness through stress or infections
Changed vaginal flora after taking an antibiotic

Typical symptoms of vaginal fungal infection:
Strong itching or burning in the area of external shame and the vaginal input of increased white-grayish, crumbly discharge

Mode of action

Mykofungin 3 (pack size: 20 g) removes the symptoms quickly, reliably and sustainably. The active ingredient clotrimazole inhibits growth and increase in mushrooms and kills the mushroom cells. It is well tolerated because it mainly acts on the cell membrane of the mushrooms, which differs from the human cell membrane. The unpleasant symptoms usually disappear within a few days. For long -term therapy success, treatment should be continued until the symptoms are completely subsided, but not without medical control.

dosage

• Always apply the vaginal cream exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
  • They apply about 5 g once a day on 3 consecutive days.

Taking

• The vaginal cream is emptied into the vagina as deeply as possible, preferably in a supine position.
• The treatment should not be carried out during menstruation or should be completed before the start.
