Field of use

Mykoderm mouth-gel (pack size: 20 g) is an antifungal (fungal killing remedy for fungal attack).Mykoderm mouth-gel (pack size: 20 g) is used in yeast mucosal infection of the oral mucosa (oral soor). Can be easily dosed with the attached measuring spoon and is well distributed on the oral mucosa

Mode of action

Mykoderm mouth-gel (pack size: 20 g) acts fungistatically (the active ingredient miconazole inhibits growth and increase of mushrooms). Looks against yeast, such as Candida Albicans, the orcass.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used,
  • if you are hypersensitive (allergic) against miconazole or one of the other components of the drug.

dosage

• Always apply the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
  • Dosage:
    • For the correct dosage, a measuring spoon with a small (1 ml) and a large (2 ml) volume is included.
    • Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
      • Baby:
        • 4 times a day 1 small measuring spoon full of gel (corresponding to 1 ml, corresponding to 1.25 g gel, contained 25 mg per individual edition).
      • Children and adults:
        • 4 times a day 1 large measuring spoon full of gel (corresponding to 2 ml, corresponding to 2.5 g gel, contained 50 mg per individual edition; daily maximum dose 20 mg/kg body weight).

 

• Duration of the application
  • The therapy duration is an average of 1-2 weeks.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have used a larger amount of the drug than you should:
  • If you have applied too many medicines, no consequences are to be expected. However, if you find unusual symptoms, please contact your doctor.

 

• If you have forgotten the application of the drug:
  • Get forgotten treatment and continue the therapy in the usual way.

 

• If you cancel the application of the drug:
  • The treatment should be carried out until the end, even if the symptoms have already been removed. The infection can still exist and possibly break out if the remedy is discontinued too early.

 

• If you have any further questions about the application of the drug, please ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Taking

• The mouth gel is administered 4 times over the day and applied to the mucous membrane. Take after meals at oral thrust.
• The gel should be kept in the mouth for as long as possible and then swallowed.
