Duration of the application?
The duration of use depends on the type of complaints and/or the course of the disease. Without medical advice, you should not apply the medicine for more than 2 weeks.

Forgot application?
Continue the application as normal at the next prescribed time (not with the double quantity).

Application areas

- Mushroom infections with yeast mushrooms, thread mushrooms and other mushrooms, such as:

+ Mushroom infections of the skin

+ Fungal infections in the body folds, e.g

+ Mushroom infections between the toes or fingers (interdigital mycosis)

+ Diaper dermatitis (skin inflammation under a diaper)

Mode of action

How do the ingredients of the drug work?

Clotrimazole: The active ingredient damages the outer shell, the so -called cell membrane of mushrooms. This case thus loses part of its functions, for example, it becomes more impermeable to nutrients - the cell is starving, or cell components emerge and the cell dissolves. Depending on the active ingredient concentration, the mushrooms are inhibited in their growth and multiplication or deployed directly. The active ingredient is also effective against certain bacteria.

Zinc oxide: zinc oxide acts on the skin against pathogens and inflammation and promotes wound healing. In addition, the moisture is bound on the skin (e.g. with oozing, damp skin areas in the body folds), which softening another and thereby reducing possible penetration of pathogens.

Contradictions

What speaks against an application?

- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients

What about pregnancy and lactation?
- Pregnancy: Contact your doctor. Various considerations play a role in whether and how the medicine can be used during pregnancy.
- Breastfeeding: The medicine should not be applied to the chest.

If the medicine has been prescribed to you despite a counter -notification, speak to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit can be higher than the risk of using the application.

Side effects

What adverse effects may occur?

- Super sensitivity reactions of the skin, such as:
- Burning or stinging on the skin
- Reddening of skin
- Itching

Hints

What should you consider?
- Be careful with allergy against mushrooms (e.g. clotrimazole)!
- Emulgators (e.g. cetyl/stearl alcohol) can cause skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis).
- There can be medicinal products with which interactions occur. Therefore, you should generally provide the doctor or pharmacist before treatment with a new medicine. This also applies to medicines that you buy yourself, only apply occasionally or that the application has been available for some time.
