Field of use

Mucosolvan Children's cough juice 30mg/5ml for mucilated cough (pack size: 100 ml) Children's cough juice is used for mucus -dissolving therapy for acute and chronic diseases of the bronchi and the lungs that are associated with a disturbance of mucus formation and transport.

• 30 mg ambroxol hydrochloride (enstpricht 27.36 mg ambroxol)

• Sorbitol 70
• Water, cleaned

Contradictions

In the case of known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or one of the above -mentioned auxiliary substances, Mucosolvan Children's cough juice 30mg/5ml should not be applied for mucous cough (pack size: 100 ml).

Ambroxol merges into the child's blood circulation and breast milk. The drug should therefore only be taken during pregnancy, especially during the first third, and during breastfeeding after careful risk-risk assessment.

dosage

Unless your doctor has prescribed it otherwise Mucosolvan Children Hustens Juice 30mg/5ml with mucous cough (pack size: 100 ml) Please include as follows:

• Children up to 2 years: twice a day 1.25 ml of juice (corresponding to 7.5 mg ambroxol hydrochloride twice a day)
• Children from 2-5 years: 3x daily 1.25 ml of juice (corresponding to 7.5 mg ambroxol hydrochloride 3 times a day)
• Children from 6-12 years: 2-3 times a day 2.5 ml juice (corresponding to 2-3 times a day 15 mg ambroxol hydrochloride)
• Adults and children from the age of 12:
  • During the first 2-3 days: 3 times a day 5 ml of juice (corresponding to 30 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride 3 times a day)
  • Then: 5 ml of juice twice a day (corresponding to 30 mg ambroxol hydrochloride twice a day)
  • In adults, an increase in effectiveness may be possible by taking 10 ml juice twice a day (corresponding to 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride).

Take Mucosolvan Children's cough juice 30mg/5ml with gluely cough (pack size: 100 ml) preferably after meals. In order to support the expectorant therapy, you should pay attention to sufficient fluid intake.

Taking

This medicine is a solution to take. It is taken after meals with the help of the attached dosing aid (measuring cup). Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

Patient information

Special caution when taking it is necessary in the following cases: very rare is reported in the time connection with the use of substances with mucus solving effects (e.g. ambroxol) on the occurrence of severe skin symptoms such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome and lyell syndrome which in most cases could be explained with the underlying disease or with the accompanying medication. When the skin or mucous membrane changes are recovered, medical advice should be obtained immediately and the use of ambroxol should be ended as a precaution. Patients with restricted kidney and liver function: If you suffer from a limited kidney function or a serious liver disease, this medicine may only be applied with special caution (i.e. in larger revenue or in reduced dose). Children: This medicine may only be applied to medical instructions in children under 2 years. Wateriness and operating machines: there are no special features to consider.
