Field of use

• The preparation is a herbal medicine for colds of the respiratory tract.
• It is applied:
  • To improve the symptoms of colds in the respiratory tract with viscous mucus.

8.5 mg ivy leaves dry extract, (4-7.5:1), extractant: ethanol 30% (V/V)
155 mg licorice root dry extract, (3-4:1), extractant: water
8.2 mg glycyrrhizic acid
38 mg thyme herb dry extract, (6-10:1), extractant: ethanol 70% (V/V)
Citric acid 1-water excipient (+)
Glucose syrup dry substance excipient (+)
Glucose excipient (+)
Maltitol solution excipient (+)
Maltodextrin excipient (+)
Silicon dioxide, highly disperse auxiliary (+)
Water, purified excipient (+)
Xanthan gum excipient (+)

Contraindications

• The medicine must not be taken,
  • if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to ivy, licorice, thyme or other lamiaceae (lamiaceae), birch, mugwort, celery or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

dosage

• Always take these medicines exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
• Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The recommended dose is:
  • Children aged 4 - 5 years
    • 3 ml twice daily
  • Children aged 6-12
    • 4 ml 2 - 3 times daily
  • Adults and young people aged 12 and over
    • 5 ml 3 times daily
  • It is not intended for use by children under 4 years of age.

 

• Duration of application
  • The medicine should not be taken for longer than 1 week without medical advice.
  • Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of this medicine is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken more than you should
  • In this case, please notify your doctor. This can decide on any necessary measures if necessary. The side effects listed below may occur more frequently.

 

• If you forget to take it
  • Do not take a double dose, but continue taking it as stated in the leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor.

Intake

• Please take the liquid undiluted and drink enough liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water).

    • For symptoms that last longer than a week. If you experience shortness of breath, fever, or purulent or bloody sputum, you should see a doctor immediately.
    • If you are taking hormonal contraceptives (“the pill”) at the same time, you should only take the medicine after consulting your doctor.
  • Children
    • There are no sufficient studies on the use of this medicine in children under 4 years of age. It should therefore not be used in children under 4 years of age.

Pregnancy

• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
• There are no sufficient studies on the use of this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It should therefore not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
