Field of use

• The medicine is a vitamin preparation.
• It is used to treat a vitamin - e - due to a lack of.
• The preparation is not suitable for the treatment of vitamin E deficiency states that are associated with a disturbed absorption of vitamin E from the intestine. In these cases, parenteral preparations (injection solutions) are available.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken,
  • if they are hypersensitive to vitamin E or one of the other components.

dosage

• Always take the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
  • Adults take 1 - 2 soft capsules every day (corresponding to 400 - 800 mg RRR - Alpha Tocopherol).

 

• Duration of the application:
  • The duration of the intake depends on the course of the underlying disease. Please ask your doctor!
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of too strong or too weak is.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should
  • Dangerous symptoms due to overdosing (hypervitaminosis) are not known.

 

• If you have forgotten the intake
  • Do not take the double dose if you have forgotten the prior intake. Continue with the application, as described in the dosage instructions.

 

• If you have any further questions about the application of the drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Taking

• Please take the soft capsules unscrewed with sufficient liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water).

Patient information

• Particular caution when taking it is required,
  • if you also take certain medicines to inhibit blood clotting (see category "Interactions"). Please ask your doctor.
  • if you have a vitamin K - deficiency at the same time. In the case of a combined, combined vitamin - E and vitamin - K - deficiency due to malabsorption, blood clotting must be carefully monitored, since in individual cases there was a strong drop in vitamin K. Please ask your doctor.

• Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking / using all drugs.
• Pregnancy
  • During pregnancy you should consume 13 mg vitamin E every day.
  • Vitamin E passes the placenta. So far, no damage has been observed in the unborn child - even with higher income quantities.
• Breastfeeding
  • During breastfeeding you should consume 17 mg vitamin E every day.
  • Vitamin E gets into breast milk.

Miscellaneous

- The effect of vitamin E is carried out by simultaneous use of iron-Preparations reduced. There should therefore be a time interval of 4 hours between taking vitamin E and iron preparations.
